With the deadline for GDPR fast approaching, GDPR Seminars are bringing together industry experts from across Ireland to discuss the implications of GDPR for their businesses. The aim of the seminar is to provide organisations with an overview of the GDPR along with practical steps they can embark on now in their journey towards achieving GDPR compliance.
The Data Compliance and GDPR Seminar is aimed at business owners, decision makers in IT and GDPR compliance and those responsible for data transfer policy and practice within their business.
Attendees will gain invaluable insights into topics such as the differences between the GDPR and previous Data Protection Acts, what businesses need to focus on when implementing Technical and Organisational Measures, the importance of compliant data transfer processes and how to avoid some of the common data breaches. Also included is a case study from one company on how they have approached their GDPR compliance project.
Attendees will have the opportunity to network with GDPR experts and other IT and data compliance experts.
The event is certified by the ICLU, IOB and LIA and all attendees will receive three CPD points.
While this is a free event, spaces are limited. In order to guarantee a place, interested parties are encouraged to register early.
